its not very restrictive but can be uncomfortable if made tight enough and worn for long enough

i used a piece of yarn and made it really tight, but it still wasn't too restrictive. looped a second piece through those bottom strings and then pulled it up tight and looped it through the first hook-through made and tied it really tight and now it's working better.
