11- Love Sex Magic Pt. 1

Friday

Jake ran up to Luke right when he first saw him outside the school entrance and hugged him right away. “Hey baby!”
Luke chuckled. A week ago, he had definetly not been expecting a guy to call him that. It was still a little strange, but not bad. “Hi! How are you?”
“I’m fine. What about you? This week has been kinda crazy.”
“Yeah, tell me about it. I’m getting through it.” Barely... Luke thought.

There was no avoiding it anymore. EVERYONE knew Luke wasn’t straight. He hadn’t even bothered to continue denying it. The news of the fight had spread like wildfire and it couldn’t be put out. It made Luke’s life so... different. He knew that when people saw him, instead of just seeing a regular, semi-cool guy, they saw a queer. Having Jake was the only thing keeping him functional.

“I’m glad. You don’t deserve any of this, but I’m gonna make it up to you tonight,” Jake winked.
Luke looked up and stood a little taller. “Really?”
“Yeah,” Jake said with a sly smile.
“What did you have in mind?”
“You’ll have to wait and find out. My parents are going out late tonight, so we'll be home alone and you can even sleepover."
"Your parents are letting a guy sleepover?"
"They're actually really cool about everything. Guys can sleep over as long as they're straight, and as far as my parents know, you are."
"Sounds like we're gonna have a good time."
"Just wait. It'll be a night to remember."

Tyler walked over to Lauren, who was standing at her locker, and tapped her shoulder. She turned around to face him.

“Hi babe,” Tyler said then leaned in to kiss her. She pushed him back. “What’s wrong?” he said. “You’re not still mad about the whole fight thing are you?”
“Really Tyler? Of course I’m mad!”
"It's not a big deal! They're alright!"
"That isn't an excuse!"
“Look, let’s not mess things up because all our friends are turning homo.”
“Homo?"
"Gay, whatever."
"Do you even realize what they’re going through?”
“No! And it doesn’t matter for me!”
“How can you be so selfish? They’re your best friends!”
"They still are!"
"Oh please, I haven't seen you talk to either of them this past week. Are you just scared you'll get made fun of?"
"Maybe a little! Other guys on the football team and stuff aren't exactly supporters of gayness!"
"You're being an ass Tyler."
“Look, I just want things between us to go back to the way they were!”
“Well Tyler, I don’t think that’s gonna happen.” Lauren said, slamming her locker.
“Babe, come on. I’m sorry.” He tried to hold her hand, but she rejected it.
“You’re only sorry for yourself. Tell me when you decide to start caring about people other than just yourself. Until then, we’re through.”


She marched away, ignoring his begging for her to come back.

Okay, that was short, I know. Next will be the only other part to this chapter, meaning it will have Jake and Luke's ENTIRE night. I promise you're gonna like it

Ok, I had myself thinking I could get the chapter done while I'm sick today, but it ain't gonna happen. I still have a big project and a bunch of other homework to do (procrastination's a killer XP) I still wanted to give you guys something, so here's another sneak peek:

Jake opened his front door and motioned for Luke to step inside. Luke did so, and Jake gave him a small kiss right away. Luke went in for more, but Jake stopped him. “Plenty of time for that later,” he said smiling, putting his arm around Luke to give him the layout of their night.

First, Jake led Luke into the living room. Even though Luke had seen it a billion times, he was now in a whole different place.

“I prepared us the traditional date. We can start with a traditional homecooked meal,” Jake pointed to a pizza box on the coffee table, “some entertainment,” he waved to the TV screen, “and desert.” Jake winked and brushed his hand along Luke’s crotch.
Luke blushed. “You sure are the romantic aren’t you?” he said sarcastically, but he really meant it. He didn’t think he could ask for a better boyfriend.
“You know it,” Jake said, also sarcastic, but in a way Luke thought was cute. “Now get over here.” Jake pulled Luke onto the couch and they both sat back, only about an inch apart.

“Grab a slice, I figured we could watch somethin’ scary?”
“You know that shit freaks me out.”
“Me too, but isn’t that the point? We’ll have each other.” Jake smiled, and Luke couldn’t deny him.
“Aight. Turn me- I mean the movie- on.”
